Los Angeles Volleyball Club wins the Coastal Combine youth volleyball tournament put on by the SCVA

COACH KAMALU

Team Flow-Kamalu is coached by LAVBC Assistant Director Kamalu Makekau-Whitaker. Kamalu, set for the United States High Performance Team from ages 15-18 before signing to Cal State Northridge. There she worked under Olympic Gold Medalist, Coach Jeff Stork.

Flow-Kamalu is ranked in the top 25 in All of Southern California and is the reigning Coastal Combine Club and Far Western American Gold Medalists. The team is also the 2021 PVL Gold Gold Medalists and won a Bronze Medal at the 2022 Red Rock Rave Regional tournament. In 2022 and 2023 Team Flow-Kamalu was awarded bids to compete in the USAV Girls Junior National Championship.
